As you may know, the aortic valve is the valve that blood passes through from the main pumping chamber of the heart. Normally, the aortic valve has three leaflets, but in about 1% of the population, the valve has two leaflets, as seen in the picture below.

If you have, or have had, a bicuspid aortic valve, we seek your help in this effort by volunteering to donate DNA and details of your disease to the Investigators, so that this disease can be better understood and therapies for it can be developed.
