Class Days

Class days are held on most Mondays throughout the internship, and are a great opportunity for the intern classmates to get to know each other better, work on projects, and provide support.

The BIDMC-based class days involve presentations by a variety of specialists from the hospital and surrounding facilities. Dietetic interns also do much of the teaching during these class days, with ample opportunity to practice public speaking skills.

Some Mondays are designated "joint class days" where all of the Boston-based dietetic interns gather for a larger theme-based class day. Topics include, but are not limited to, the following:

• Nutrition & Aging
• Career Day
• Pediatric Nutrition
• Nutrition Support
• Research
• Private Practice
• Sports Nutrition & Eating Disorders

Classes offered are non-credit classes.
