About Volunteering at BIDMC
Thank you for your interest in volunteering at BIDMC! Our volunteers are essential members of our community. We are grateful for the contributions they make to BIDMC's mission, providing extraordinary care where the patient comes first. We presently have a diverse, trained group of more than 250 individuals who selflessly commit thousands of hours each year to support BIDMC staff, patients and families.
Available volunteer assignments are very limited, particularly for evenings or weekends. However, we encourage you to review all the opportunities we have to offer. If interested in one of the roles, please complete our online Volunteer Application. If there are any openings for the role you are interested in, we will reach out to you directly to schedule an interview. Please note Volunteer Services does not coordinate internships, unpaid research opportunities, or shadowing opportunities.
