Clinical Nutrition Research

Key Insights into Patient Nutrition Support

BIDMC's Division of Clinical Nutrition provides clinical guidance when artificial nutrition support (via a catheter) is required for selected patients. Also, novel research involving in vivo (human studies and animal models) and in vitro (laboratory analyses) is conducted and is ultimately aimed at improving the safe delivery of nutrition care to our patients. Our division is widely recognized within the field of artificial nutrition support.
