Center for Inflammation Research
Center for Inflammation Research
The Center for Inflammation Research provides the foundation for collaborative research that will lead to advances in biomedical knowledge and enhancements in patient care. The Center integrates basic immunologic advances in the diverse areas of inflammation and immunobiology, and ultimately applies these advances to translational clinical care. This work has great promise for the treatment of multisystem inflammatory diseases (including transplant associated vascular diseases, Crohn disease and hepatitis, sepsis and ARDS) as well as cancer.
The Center will conduct funded innovative research with a focus on fundamental cellular signaling pathways. This work has great promise for the treatment of multisystem inflammatory diseases (including transplant associated vascular diseases, Crohn disease and hepatitis, sepsis and ARDS) as well as cancer.
