Office of Sponsored Programs

The office of Sponsored Programs is made up of the Grant Contracts Office and five Research Administrative Teams.

The Grant Contracts Office is responsible for contracting for all federal, foundation and other private non-profit funded awards. The Grant Contracts Office works in close collaboration with the Research Administrative Teams and is responsible for oversight of compliance activities associated with these types of sponsored research projects.

The Research Administrative Teams report centrally to the Vice President of Research Operations and work directly with the Principal Investigators and their study teams to assist with the management of pre and post award activities. This includes, but is not limited to, assisting with the grant application process, facilitating subcontracts, involving ancillary resources (e.g. the Clinical Trials Office, Technology Ventures Office, etc.), effort monitoring/reporting, financial reconciliation, and assistance with compliance activities.
