Radiation Oncology Medical Education
Residency Training in Radiation Oncology
As part of the vibrant academic community affiliated with Harvard Medical School, the Joint Center for Radiation Therapy offers outstanding educational opportunities for physicians seeking a career in Radiation Oncology. Each year, three residents are accepted into the four-year program.
Residents rotate through Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center, Brigham and Women's Hospital, Boston Children's Hospital, and Dana-Farber Cancer Institute.
Approved by the Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education, the residency program provides a structure and environment designed to prepare individuals for a career in academic medicine. Its member hospitals serve a large number of patients, giving residents broad exposure to clinical and research experiences.
