Advanced Training in OB/GYN

BIDMC's Labor & Delivery RoomThe Department of Obstetrics & Gynecology at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center offers a full education program for medical students, residents, and fellows. Our patient-centered philosophy, coupled with state-of-the-art facilities and technologies, gives a unique blend of art and science. Our department collaborates with other departments within the medical center so learners are exposed to all aspects of women's health care. We offer an OB/GYN residency; fellowships in Female Pelvic Medicine & Reconstructive Surgery (Urogynecology), Reproductive Endocrinology & Infertility, Maternal Fetal Medicine, and a combined program in Maternal Fetal Medicine & Medical Genetics and Genomics; as well as a clerkship for medical students.

The Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology is also committed to improving health outcomes for women around the world, and our Division of Global and Community Health offers robust training to help physicians address health disparities and transform care in underserved communities, both locally and globally.
