Upcoming Rotation Applications

Our Harvard Affiliated Emergency Medicine Residency at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center (HAEMR-BIDMC) is thrilled to invite applicants to apply for in-person clinical rotations starting August 1, 2021. Please have your students apply through the Harvard Medical School (HMS) Registrar via VSAS application.

We have exciting opportunities specific to underrepresented applicants as well. The Visiting Clerkship Program (VCP) at HMS is now accepting applications from URM applicants to rotate at BIDMC. The VCP program offers a $2500 stipend to reimburse travel and housing and provides mentoring and networking events. For more information please visit the VCP website. The earliest deadline is May 31, 2021 for August and September clerkships.

Our department and residency program are committed to supporting underrepresented applicants and will provide a $2000 stipend for a limited number of URM applicants who may receive a clinical rotation spot in the BIDMC ED without associated VCP funding.

If you have a student who is interested in rotating with us, they should contact our Clerkship Director, Dr. Nicole Dubosh concurrently with submitting an application through the HMS Registrar. Additional information is located on our website.

Students with additional questions are also welcome to contact Associate Program Director, Dr. Leslie Bilello and our Director of Residency Diversity Recruitment, Dr. Joshua Ellis.
