About Our URiM Visiting Student Clinical Anesthesiology Elective

The Department of Anesthesia, Critical Care, and Pain Medicine at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center offers financial assistance for third/fourth-year underrepresented in medicine, (URiM as defined by the AAMC, e.g. African American, Hispanic, Latinx, American Indian, Alaskan Native) medical students.

This scholarship is $2,500 and is meant to offset the cost of housing and travel to Boston for the clerkship. Students must be in good academic standing at a US accredited medical school and must complete all requirements for application to the clerkship.

All interested students MUST apply via VSLO before completing this application. Please visit the Harvard Medical School Registrar's Office webpage for further information on the HMS Visiting Clerkship Program.
