If you feel you need to see a specialist and have not discussed the
referral with your primary care provider (PCP), please first call your PCP,
as they may need to see you prior to referring you to the specialist.

Referral requests for specialty care must be submitted a minimum of seven
(7) days prior to your appointment to allow for processing, unless the
visit is scheduled within seven days of the appointment.

providers, your primary care provider will refer you to a Beth Israel

available to patients who are under the care of a BIDHC primary care
physician (PCP). The After Hours Clinic provides urgent care for patients
who are unable to see their primary care physician during regular office
hours. The BIDHC After Hours Clinic is staffed by Beth Israel Deaconess
HealthCare providers who will share the details of your visit with your
primary care physician.
The After Hours Clinic is located at Beth Israel Deaconess
Hospital-Needham, giving patients instant access to hospital services
including laboratory, radiology and the emergency department. There is
plenty of free parking available. The After Hours Clinic is easily
accessible through the Main Entrance of the hospital at 148 Chestnut Street
