What To Expect During Surgery for Skin Cancer
If you have been diagnosed with a skin cancer, you may need to have surgery. It may be a more traditional skin surgery or you may be the right candidate for Mohs Surgery. Surgeons will remove some of the healthy skin, along with the entire mole or lesion. Surgery for skin cancer is performed on an outpatient basis, meaning you will go home shortly after the procedure.
