Cancer is hard to do alone. Join others in our cancer support groups where you will find understanding, information and support. Participation is free. To register and learn where each group meets, please reach out to the contact person listed.
Prostate Cancer Support Groups
A full program of oncology support services for men diagnosed with prostate cancer and their partners.
When: 1st Monday of each month,
Group Meeting: 6:00 pm – 7:00 pm; Lecture: 7:00 pm – 8:30 pm

Young Adults with Cancer Support Group
A virtual support group for individuals between the ages of 18-40 to discuss common issues and feelings around their cancer diagnosis. Open to patients with any cancer diagnosis and in any stage of treatment.
When: 1st and 3rd Wednesday of each month, 5:30 pm – 6:30 pm

Head and Neck Cancer Support Group
A support group for people with head and/or neck cancer to discuss common issues and feelings around their cancer diagnosis.
When: 3rd Wednesday of each month, 12:00 pm – 1:00 pm

Breast Cancer Support Group
A support group for individuals with non-metastatic breast cancer to discuss common issues and feelings around their cancer diagnosis. Discussions will include treatment and the emotional and physical impact on their daily lives.
When: 2nd and 4th Thursday of each month, 4:00 pm – 5:00 pm

A weekly meditation group for oncology and neurology patients. You will learn how to meditate as a way to better manage the common feelings of anxiety, depression, fear and uncertainty. The group practice and discussion will help you to cultivate inner strength and insight based on the philosophy of Tibetan Buddhism. The meeting is facilitated by Tsering Lama Yodsampa, a Buddhist chaplain.
