• A Consult Coordinator who is strictly dedicated to the Breast Pathology Service
• At least a preliminary diagnosis within 24 hours of receipt of the case (in most instances)
• We also perform ancillary immunohistochemical studies, as needed

Meet Our Team

We endeavor to be very timely in our turnaround of consultation cases. In most instances, you can expect at least a phone call with a preliminary diagnosis within 24 hours of receipt of the case.

However, given the difficult or complex nature and the need for adjunctive studies in some cases, reaching a final diagnosis may sometimes take longer.

We provide reporting of results by fax.

Step 2: Mail Forms with Materials

Mail the completed Consultation form, Payment Authorization form, and pathology report with slides and/or blocks to:

We strongly suggest sending completed forms and materials via courier or express mail, with signature or receipt required.

The Breast Pathology Consultation Service also provides consultation services to facilities and physicians located outside of the Unites States. In addition to the above instructions, we do require the pathology report be in English. A loose translation by the pathologist requesting the consultation is acceptable. Please also make sure to include an e-mail address for easier communication.
