Our team of experts perform minimally invasive mitral valve repair to treat mitral regurgitation (MR). We are leaders in the use of Mitraclip therapy, which has shown improved clinical outcomes and quality of life for patients with both primary and secondary MR who are at high risk for open-heart surgery. BIDMC was the first hospital in Boston to offer the fourth-generation MitraClip G4 device.
