The Department of Anesthesia, Critical Care and Pain Medicine at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center is an international leader in the advancement of anesthesiology focused on state-of-the-art clinical care, innovative research, and exceptional anesthesia education. The Department manages the operating rooms, intensive care units and the Pain Center at BIDMC and community affiliates. Physician experts specializing across 12 divisions, use innovative technologies, such as 3-D imaging and guided ultrasound, to provide minimally-invasive, safe care and the most successful outcomes. The Department is focused on providing outstanding patient care through the perioperative period (before, during, and after your procedure).
