Join Our Weekly Restorative Yoga Classes

Female yoga instructor in a yoga pose Restorative yoga is a gentle, quiet form of yoga that uses props to support the body, allowing for mental and emotional relaxation.

Yoga is helpful for:

  • bringing mind and body into balance
  • deep relaxation & self-care
  • slowing down and unwinding
  • purposeful rest

BIDMC's online restorative yoga classes are for patients who are pregnant, led by Sheila Leaden, a certified restorative yoga instructor and sonographer in the Division Maternal-Fetal Medicine at BIDMC. Read BIDMC's brochure on Restorative Yoga to learn more.
