About the BIDMC Youth Jobs Program

The Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center Summer Youth Jobs Program is a paid internship that runs for 6 weeks during the summer. Those who are selected will work from Monday-Thursday for 32 hours a week.

Interns work in their assigned departments to gain real world skills while making a difference in the community. They also meet weekly as a group to attend various department tours and interact and meet with BIDMC colleagues.

Some departments who have hosted program participants in the past include:

  • Radiology
  • Clinical Trials Research
  • Materials Management
  • Clinical Engineering
  • Head and Neck (Otolaryngology)
  • Emergency Medicine

This is a paid internship.
