Stephen is a graduate student in Medical Sciences at Boston University involved with multiple research projects within the Nazarian lab, with topics including biomechanics, robotics, imaging, and medical device design. Stephen started his work at the lab during his senior year for the completion of both his biomedical and computer engineering undergraduate requirements, working on developing a musculoskeletal shoulder model that incorporates robotically controlled active muscle loading. In the future, he hopes to use his experience within medicine to bridge the divide between medicine and technology for better medical care. Some of his interests include medicine, robotics, music, and dance.
