Patrick Williamson, PhD Student
About Patrick Williamson
Patrick is a graduate student researcher working on his Doctorate in Mechanical Engineering at Boston University. His thesis is focused on finite element modeling of partial rotator cuff tear including cadaveric validation experiments. Patrick also works as our Engineering Capstone Project Technical Supervisor, mentoring senior engineers during their capstone projects in our lab. He graduated with a BS in Biomedical Engineering in 2016 and MS in Mechanical Engineering in 2019, both from BU. Patrick has been working on projects under Ara's mentorship at the Musculoskeletal Translational Innovation Initiative since Fall 2015 including his senior project concerning the kinetics and kinematics of the glenohumeral joint.
