Jonathan Egan, MEng

Jonathan Egan received his B.S. and M.Eng. degrees in Biomedical Engineering from Boston University, focusing on the design and development of medical devices. While completing his M.Eng degree, he was part of a team that developed a novel catheter-based device to improve the safety and efficacy of endocardial ablation procedures. While working under Dr. Nazarian, Jonathan’s main projects have included the creation of image analysis software for a novel MRI technique and the construction of an electromechanical system to produce predetermined joint motions in cadaveric wrist specimens via actively loaded forearm muscles.
