Sports Medicine and Trauma

The treatment of sports related and traumatic injuries bring together the expertise of our physicians and physical therapists to treat common sports injuries to the lower extremities. We treat both competitive athletes and weekend warriors. Sports injuries we treat include:

  • Ankle sprains
  • Heel pain/plantar fasciitis
  • Joint dislocations
  • Ligament injuries
  • Muscle strains
  • Stress fractures
  • Tendon ruptures
  • Traumatic fractures

Many of these conditions can be treated with physical therapy or orthotic devices, which we can provide. By recognizing these conditions early and treating them aggressively, we enable athletes to recover and return to activity as soon as possible.
