About Our Eye Disease Research

The Division of Ophthalmology at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center is involved in extensive research and evaluation of surgical and non-surgical treatment for eye disease. Our investigators have recently investigated the efficacy and outcomes of novel surgical techniques, the intraocular cytokine levels of eyes with various ocular conditions, and novel risk factors for age-related macular degeneration (AMD).
