Please join us for our second Fall 2022 “Ask the Experts” free webinar on Wednesday, November 9 from 1:00 to 2:15 pm EST. Three clinicians will present updates on diagnosing and predicting celiac disease, including developments from the 2022 International Celiac Disease Symposium in Sorrento, Italy.

Denis Chang, MD, MS, pediatric gastroenterologist at Boston Children’s Hospital (BCH), will focus on the clinical challenges of diagnosis and the array of consumer testing kits for celiac disease and genetic information. Amelie Therrien, MD, gastroenterologist at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center, will examine diagnostic alternatives to the current tool of endoscopy with biopsy. Focusing on the prevention of celiac disease, Maureen Leonard, MD, MMSc, clinical director of the Center for Celiac Research and Treatment at MassGeneral for Children, will present findings on the gut microbiome and other areas of research.

Lee Graham, executive director of the National Celiac Association, will introduce the webinar, which will be moderated by Dascha Weir, MD, associate director of the Celiac Disease Program at BCH. A Q&A session will follow the presentations; please submit general questions on the registration form or during the webinar on the Zoom platform.
