A Lovely Story and a Few Apps

This is a clearing off my desk on Friday kind of entry. The first is a lovely story about an old woman who didn't let cancer or age stop her dreams. It reminds me of a woman whom I knew some years ago. She had advanced cancer, but was still feeling pretty well and decided to stop active treatment and enjoy her time. She planned ad pre-paid her funeral, using a credit card that gave her airline miles. And then she took a trip around the world.

90-Year-Old Norma Hits The Open Road

This is a story of a 90-year-old woman who lost most of the people that were near and dear to her before she was diagnosed with cancer herself. Although her doctor recommended that she should start treatment, she boldly decided that she wanted to enjoy the time she has left. Read Norma's heartwarming story:
