This is not a post that anyone will want to read right through. It is, I hope, one that you should consider bookmarking and using as you need it. We all know that the language of cancer is sometimes insulting (.e.g. "Ms. X failed Adria as opposed to Adria failed Ms. X) and often obtuse. This dictionary won't solve the insulting part, but it will define the words you might need.

When you hear doctors talk about cancer and its treatment, it can sound as though they are speaking a foreign language. It helps to learn some of the common terms they use and what those words mean. Understanding the lingo can help you work with your doctor as you fight the disease together.
