Walking Prescription Pad
How much should
walk? Based on your age, fitness level and other factors, the CardioVascular Institute has come up with this tool to give a general idea of how much you should walk for better health. After completing a series of fields, you will receive a "prescription" for the amount of walking that would be best for you.
As always, if you have never done a fitness program, check with your own doctor before starting.
