I have been saving this link to a very good article from Living Beyond Breast Cancer. Unlike so much of what is published about diet and nutrition, this is sensible, accessible, and makes no promises. The timing, the day after Thanksgiving, also seems appropriate. No sane or kind person is going to suggest that it is not okay to have occasional lapses and days of gluttony or delight. I surely hope that no one passed on the mashed potatoes yesterday in the interest of eliminating a few rich calories. One last comment about my own Thanksgiving; I believe I mentioned that I try a new stuffing recipe each year, hoping to find perfection. Yesterday's was good, but not as good as last year's, so the search will continue. If any of you have one that you love, please share it!
