XXYYX Girls Say to Girls

In the post title line, I substituted XXs for the real word in this link. It is horrifying what people sometimes say to us, and this video catches it with humor. When it happens to you, I have two strategy suggestions (both better than either bursting into tears or slapping the offensive speaker):
1. Pause for a full minute; this gives you time to collect yourself. Then in a puzzled (not an angry) voice, say: "What did you just say that to me?"
2. Keep a list of all the hienous, hurtful, stupid remarks. Then, when someone makes one, you can think: "There is one for the list." This gives you a place to put your rage.
