This is an announcement from my friend and colleague, Tracy Fitzpatrick, who is an experienced and wonderful life coach who specializes in working with cancer patients and survivors. As we all know, a cancer diagnosis is a major event and often a major stimulus for change. In ths email, Tracy talks a little about herself and her work and includes a link for a free guide. Get it!

November 2010

Dear Colleague,

Hello and happy fall! I hope this finds you well.

I am writing to share new developments in my life coaching practice. I have been coaching now for nine years and hold two certifications through the Coaches Training Institute and the International Coach Federation. My private practice has two areas of focus: career transitions as well as post-treatment cancer survivors. For eight years, I have run coaching workshops for hundreds of cancer survivors. Most of these have been affiliated with cancer support programs in the Boston area: The Wellness Community, Facing Cancer Together, Next Step and Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center's Celebration of Life. The affirming feedback from group members inspires me to keep on with this work.

For some years, I have wanted to share coaching more broadly with a larger group of cancer survivors. Coaching can be especially helpful when folks are ready not to be patients any more but not sure how to make that leap back to life, or are trying to get on with life while they learn to cope with cancer as a chronic illness.

I am writing now to share the first step toward my goal: a free, downloadable guide and recorded visualization for cancer survivors. To download this material, just click on this link:
www.aliveandauthentic.com Feel free, too, to pass on this information to others.

By downloading the guide and audio, you will also be adding yourself to my official contact list about other programs and resources for cancer survivors. One follow-up email will include a survey asking for your feedback about this eBook and audio. If the spirit moves, I would love to know what you think.

There will also be information about coming events. At the beginning of 2011, for the first time, I will be offering my Alive & Authentic coaching group for cancer survivors as a virtual workshop by phone and web. I will pilot this program so that folks from anywhere may participate from the comfort of their homes.

I appreciate having the opportunity to share about work I find so meaningful. Best wishes for health and vitality!

Sincerely,
- Tracy
