New CEO makes media rounds

Incoming BIDMC President and CEO Dr. Kevin Tabb made an initial round of media calls after he was formally named the medical center's new boss, effective Oct. 17.
Listen to his interview on the local edition of All Things Considered, where he offers his initial thoughts on a broad range of issues he will face.
Some local figures, including those who knew Tabb at Stanford, where he has been chief medical officer at Stanford Hospital and Clinics, offer the Boston Globe some insights on the man and their take on the issues he will need to address.
