Getting an education
State and federal staffers with a major responsibility for health care policy had the chance to be medical students for a day recently.
Project Medical Education, a local collaboration between the Association of American Medical Colleges and the Conference of Boston Teaching Hospitals, three medical schools and 12 local hospitals.
There'll be more to come in the near future, but for now a flavor: a snippet of a trauma situation played out in BIDMC's Carl J. Shapiro Simulation and Skills Lab.
