Frangioni an "Innovator"

The Boston Globe has seen the light -- the one coming from BIDMC's John Frangioni's lab.
Frangioni was named by the Globe one of the Top 30 Innovators in Massachusetts for the work he is doing on "FLARE™ (Fluorescence-Assisted Resection and Exploration).
The novel technology enables surgeons to identify sentinel lymph nodes during breast cancer surgery.
The work, part of the BIDMC Center for Molecular Imaging, is highlighted in this 2009 feature.
