Pier Paolo Pandolfi, MD., PhD., is the director of research, director of the cancer genetics program, and chief of the division of genetics in the department of medicine, Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center and Harvard Medical School. Dr. Pandolfi, recipient of the 2011 Pezcoller Foundation-AACR International Award for Cancer Research, discusses his research on the origins and development of leukemias, lymphomas and solid tumors and his current research with novel proto-oncogenes and tumor suppressors.
