BIDMC placed a doctor and a patient in Health LeadersMedia 20 People Who Make Healthcare Better.
Dr. Danny Sands has been an innovator in using technology to improve the physician-patient relationship. Dave deBronkart, better known as e-Patient Dave, nade ample use of technology as he worked with Sands and other BIDMC physicians to battle stage 4 kidney cancer.
