Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center was the first hospital in New England to routinely perform advanced colorectal surgery with a robot, and that's made a huge difference to patients like Peter Curran. As he sought opinions from several Boston hospitals, Peter met Dr. Deborah Nagle, Chief of the Division of Colon and Rectal Surgery at BIDMC, who told him about the benefits of the robotic procedure.
