Glenn Rosen Laboratory
Welcome to the Rosen Lab at
Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center (BIDMC). The lab is located on the 6th floor of the Center for Life Sciences and is directed by Glenn D. Rosen, PhD Associate Professor of Neurology (Neuroscience) at Harvard Medical School. The main scientific interests of the laboratory center around brain development, which we approach from a number of different perspectives. In collaboration with the
The Dyslexia Laboratory at BIDMC, we are investigating the roles of candidate dyslexia susceptibility genes on the organization and connectivity of the cerebral cortex. In collaboration with
Robert W. Williams at
University of Tennessee Health Science Center we have created
The Mouse Brain Library, an on-line resource of mouse brain images and
genetic resources. Using these resources, we are currently involved in a project to identify the genes and gene networks involved in modulating cell number in the cerebral cortex and striatum of mice.
