Dr. Rosenzweig’s research focuses on the signaling mechanisms underlying the most common cardiovascular diseases including heart failure, cardiac ischemia, and atherosclerosis. Clinically, these diseases are a growing cause of morbidity and mortality throughout the world, and commonly co-exist. This clinical convergence may, in part, reflect intersecting signaling mechanisms that contribute to all these conditions through control of fundamental cellular processes including cell survival, inflammation, and metabolism.
