Agilent 2200 TapeStation System
This quality and quantity control bioanalyzer is a powerful tool for accurate measurement of your DNA or RNA sample and will get you ready for your next step of application. The DNA ScreenTape will provide you with your sample’s QC needed in NGS, cDNA libraries preparation, genotyping, QC of qPCR products, PCR fragment analysis, mycoplasma detection. The RNA ScreenTape analysis will facilitate the preciseness of your gene expression profiling, qRT-PCR, NGS or microarray experiments.
Covaris E220 Ulta-Sonicator
The Adaptive Focused Acoustics (AFA) technology employs a very high frequency ultrasound waves to be focused into a discrete zone in the sample vessel. This efficient delivery requires minimal energy avoiding the adverse effect on the sample. The focused ultrasonicator provides exquisite control and tuning of the power, making the application of the instrument versatile: from gentle, low-power to high-power applications such as chromatin shearing, DNA fragmentation, liposome and nanosuspension formation.
Laser Capture Microdissection
After being trained on the proper usage of the LCM microscope, you will be free to reserve time on the LCM through an on-line calendar and work with the equipment. Come over and enjoy this powerful, state-of-the art instrument.
Real-Time PCR will always remain the technology you will need for the final touch of your gene expression studies. Our core is equipped with all an investigator needs for primer design, experimental run and data processing. If you have been trained to operate a Real-Time PCR machine you can perform the experiment yourselves.
Or, we can do it for you. You can purchase from us all the necessary reagents, endogenous controls and consumables. Or, you can use your own.
Odyssey Infrared Imager
This Odyssey Infrared Imager is a self service scanner available during for scanning blots.
