At Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center we are committed to personalized, excellent care for our patients and have a workforce devoted to individual accountability, mutual respect and collaboration. Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center welcomes information regarding any concerns about the safety or quality of care received within our organization. If you have concerns, problems, or complaints about patient safety, the quality of care or service that you or a patient received in our care, you are encouraged to speak directly to the providers, or appropriate supervisors or management staff.
If your concerns are not resolved to your satisfaction, or if you would like the help of someone not immediately involved, our Patient Relations staff are available.
Concerns regarding patient care and safety may be communicated to BIDMC Patient Relations Staff via telephone - (617) 632-0364 Monday - Friday, 8:30am – 5pm .

BIDMC assures everyone: patients, family members, employees, care providers, and individuals providing treatments or services, that reporting patient care and safety concerns will not adversely impact the quality of care received, and that no punitive action, formal or informal, will be threatened or carried out in retaliation for reporting quality-of-care issues to Patient Relations or to The Joint Commission.
