Musa Moris Aner, MD, has returned to the Department of Anesthesia, Critical Care and Pain Medicine from the American Hospital in Istanbul, Istanbul, Turkey, where he was a staff anesthesiologist and the Associate Director of the Pain and Palliative Care Program. Dr. Aner completed his fellowship training in Pain Management with the Harvard/Longwood Combined Pain Management Program. Following his Fellowship training, he was a staff physician in the Department of Anesthesia, Division of Pain Medicine at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center and the Department of Anesthesia, Pain Treatment Service at The Children’s Hospital, Boston.
In addition to general pain medicine, Dr. Aner’s areas of expertise include interventional procedures such as spinal cord stimulation, implantable intrathecal drug delivery systems and intradiscal procedures.
