The Department of Pathology welcomes Dr. Mark Boguski.
Mark S. Boguski, MD, PhD, has joined the Department of Pathology at BIDMC. He comes to the medical center from Novartis Institutes for Biomedical Research where he launched a new division of Genome and Proteome Sciences.
Internationally known for his leadership and expertise in bioinformatics and all aspects of genomics, Dr. Boguski also serves in the Center for Biomedical Informatics at Harvard Medical School. He is the former Senior Vice President of Research and Development at Rosetta Inpharmatics (now a wholly owned subsidiary of Merck & Co.) and the founding Director of the (Paul) Allen Institute for Brain Science in Seattle.
