Joseph P. DeAngelis, MD, has joined the Sports Medicine Division in the Carl J. Shapiro Department of Orthopaedic Surgery. He comes to BIDMC after completing a fellowship in sports medicine and shoulder surgery at Vanderbuilt University in Nashville, TN.
Dr. DeAngelis specializes in sports-related injuries and disorders of the knee and shoulder. His clinical expertise includes knee reconstruction, shoulder restoration procedures and shoulder replacement. Dr. DeAngelis evaluates and treats sports-related problems as well as degenerative shoulder conditions.
