Donald Cutlip, MD has been named Director of The Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory in The Cardiovascular Institute at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center (BIDMC).
An internationally renowned researcher, clinician and instructor, Dr. Cutlip has been a member of BIDMC's prestigious cardiology staff for more than 10 years. Among his responsibilities as Director of The Cardiac Catheterization Lab, he will oversee the Heart Disease in Diabetes Program in conjunction with Joslin Diabetes Center and the Interventional Cardiology clinical research program. His research interests focus on the design and analysis of percutaneous coronary intervention clinical trials and he has authored numerous articles in this and related areas.
