The Spine Center welcomes Dr. Musa Moris Aner and Dr. Stefan C. Muzin.
Both physicians are now accepting new patients.
Dr. Aner is a board-certified anesthesiologist who is fellowship-trained in pain management, with extensive expertise in managing pain caused by a variety of conditions, including neck and back disorders. He has a special interest in degenerative spine pain. His areas of expertise include interventional procedures for pain management/treatment, such as spinal injections, radiofrequency and spinal cord stimulation.
A member of the Department of Anesthesia, Critical Care and Pain Medicine at Beth Israel Deaconess, Dr. Aner now provides outpatient evaluation and consultation in the Spine Center every Tuesday, through a collaborative partnership with the Arnold Pain Management Center.
Dr. Muzin is a board-certified, fellowship-trained physiatrist specializing in “interventional spine” – diagnosing and treating spine conditions using nonsurgical, minimally invasive approaches and image-guided procedures. He also specializes in novel treatments for a variety of musculoskeletal conditions such as arthritis, as well as neuromuscular rehabilitation.
Dr. Muzin joins the medical center following a fellowship in Interventional Spine and Sports Medicine at the Hospital for Special Surgery in New York. He sees patients at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center in Boston and Beth Israel Deaconess Hospital-Needham.
