Tahereh (Tara) Ghaziani, MD,has joined the
Division of Gastroenterology and Hepatology in the
Department of Medicine at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center.
A graduate of Shaheed Beheshti University of Medical Sciences in Tehran, Iran, Ghaziani completed a gastroenterology fellowship, a research fellowship in matrix biology and most recently a fellowship in transplant hepatology, all at BDIMC. Before coming to BIDMC, she was a research instructor in medicine at the University of Connecticut Health Center in Storrs, CT.
Ghaziani sees patients with all aspects of liver disease, including complex liver disease, in person and through the Extension for Community Healthcare Outcomes program for the hepatitis C virus program (ECHO-HCV). She also performs procedures including endoscopy, colonoscopy, feeding tube placement and liver biopsy.
