Sarah Flier, MD, has joined the Division of Gastroenterology in the Department of Medicine at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center.
Flier is a graduate of The Mount Sinai School of Medicine in New York. She completed an Internal Medicine Residency at The Mount Sinai Hospital of New York before coming to BIDMC as a Gastroenterology Fellow.
Flier's clinical focus is on inflammatory bowel disease (IBD) and intestinal fibrosis. In addition to seeing patients in the IBD Center and procedural areas, she will continue her research in the Division of Matrix Biology on the molecular causes of intestinal fibrosis in IBD.
