BOSTON – Amy R. Evenson, MD, has joined the Division of Transplantation in the Roberta and Stephen R. Weiner Department of Surgery.

A graduate of the University of Maryland School of Medicine in Baltimore, Evenson comes to the medical center after completing her residency at BIDMC in 2007 and a two-year multi-organ transplant surgery fellowship at Northwestern Memorial Hospital in Chicago from 2007 to 2009.

Evenson will be involved in all aspects of kidney, liver and pancreas transplantation, dialysis access, hepatobiliary surgery and general surgery in transplant patients. Additionally, she will perform dialysis access surveillance and maintenance procedures at the Advanced Vascular Care Center.
