BOSTON – Martin R. Pollak, MD has joined the Division of Nephrology as the new Chief. Pollak comes to BIDMC from Brigham and Women’s Hospital where his laboratory studied the molecular basis of renal glomerular disease using genetic and cell biologic approaches.
Having received his medical training at New York University School of Medicine in New York, Pollak was a nephrology fellow at Brigham and Women’s, a research fellow in medicine and a postdoctoral fellow in genetics, both at Harvard Medical School in Boston.
Pollak will continue his research in the molecular and genetic basis of kidney disease here at BIDMC.
