Grand Rounds and Continuing Education

The Social Work Department maintains an active commitment to the professional development of our staff. The department sponsors several forums for ongoing education including grand rounds and continuing education programs. Grand Rounds, is a monthly didactic lecture on a theoretical and/or practice issue. Grand Rounds are open to the social work community at large.  Social Workers who attend 80% of the sessions are eligible for CEU's.

Continuing education programs are open to BIDMC staff only. These sessions are focused on topics related to health and mental health care and are didactic and experiential in format. CEU's are available for BIDMC staff.
